We may have Black-capped Chickadees nesting...

Caught a pair of Black-capped Chickadees checking out our nesting box in the backyard. In the past, only sparrows used this bird nest box. Fingers crossed that the Chickadees stay this season, it would be so neat to see them on a daily basis.

Here is a photo of one I caught on the bird feeder a few weeks ago. They are a rare site to our yard. So when we get to observe them it is always a joy. :)
